Mrs. Andrews had a young cat. One evening, the cat couldn’t     when it began to snow heavily. Mrs. Andrews looked for her everywhere and       her name but failed, so she telephoned the police, “ I have a small black cat . I       her for a year, but she was missing. Has anybody found one? ” “ No, madam, ” the policeman replied , “ But cats are really strong animals. They can sometimes live for days in the snow, and when somebody finds them, they are quite well .” Mrs. Andrews felt happy when she heard this. “ My cat is very clever and she almost   . ” she added. The policeman was getting tired, “Well then, ” he said. “ Why don’t you put your telephone down? Maybe she is trying     you now. ”
